Frequently Asked Questions
How many treatments do I need?
Every person is different on how many treatments until they start to notice progress. It fully depends on how complex their injury or dysfunction is. On average I recommend that each person allow 4-5 full treatments in order to see results.
Do I need to do maintenance treatments?
It is highly recommended that each patient have maintenance treatments after I fix their dysfunction. Depending on your lifestyle I recommend 2-4 treatments a year in order to maintain no pain or dysfunction. If you are able to come see me for maintenance it allows me to release tight fascia before it affects your body and lifestyle.
Does treatment hurt / What does treatment feel like?
Due to Fascial Counterstrain working with the body instead of against it, there is no pain at all! Normally patients report feeling warmth to the area that is being treated. Some patients also state that it feels like a cold rush of water goes through the area I am treating. Above all you should only feel relief during the sessions.
Do you take insurance?
I currently do not accept any insurance.
Is there a cancellation policy?
Yes, we require all customers to provide at least 24 hours notice when canceling or rebooking an appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged 50% of the treatment price using the payment method provided at booking. Clients arriving more than 20 minutes after their appointment start time will be considered a no-show.
Is there anything I can do to help treatment?
The best thing you can do after treatment is to just listen to your body. If something is increasing your pain it is recommended not to push through that pain.
Is there anything I cannot do after treatment?
It is recommended after treatment to not do anything strenuous for 24 hours after to let your body fully release. If you do workout or do any strenuous activity before the 24 hours you will not injury yourself further you just will not get as good of results as you would with rest.
